Quick couple questions though.....

1. how come none of these calculators you see on the Internet or this one take into consideration a twin vs. single setup? Wouldn't the top speed be different if you have a twin setup?

2. Along the same lines wouldn't it be important to know how many blades your running on the prop? Correct me if I am wrong but in the real world if you kept all the numbers the same (speed, pitch, WOT RPM, gear ratio and simply changed from a three blade to a four blade I don't believe the boat will run the same speed??

Good points however, single versus twin setups, the main goal is to make your prop as efficient as possible. The calculation gives you the options to manipulate the "what if's". I agree that there is more to it... IE hull condition, cat vs. Deep v, stepped v vs. Conventional, ect...
