Default 29p M+

How far can a 29p M+ be up pitched??? Brett??? Anyone??

Currently have a Labbed 29p M+ and would like to bring the RPM's down about 300 and pick up a few more MPH.

Rule of thumb is +/- 1" maybe 1½" sometimes. After that, things tend to get strange.

What are you running a 29M+ on? Mine came with a pair of 25M. I added HP and went to a 25M+ and was happy, for a while. I added more HP then had to have more prop, so I tried a 27M+. The prop didn't have enough blade surface pushing water to get me on plane. I am now running a 29" Cutting Edge.

I've got a 34' super Hawaii. Moved from 365hp to 550hp.

Hello osur866,

Yes we can move your 29 M+ to decrease the rpm by 300. This will increase the current speed. The M+ acts more like a 30.5" pitch propeller within the Mirage family. We can go 2 inches of pitch but prefer to only 1". If you need more, we should discuss the options.

Payton, you can not compare a 34 foot Hawaii to a 18 foot Donzi. Also, you can not compare a 3 blade propeller to a 4 blade propeller. I am surprised you ever even ran a 3 blade on your hull. Anyway, your 29P CE is a replica of a Bravo 1 propeller with extra cup in it. Yes, it will work better than a 3 blade on a Hawaii. So would a ton of other options.

Brett

Brett we should prolly talk, I ran a Stock Bravo 1 32p at around 5700 rpm's where I'd like to bring the 29p M+ but had the 32 have had just the blades thinned and balanced I think I'd have been past my rpm target speed was good with the Bravo 1 at 90 tho

Brett, That's why I was asking what kind of hull he had. My 25M+s that you fixed for me did great until I added more power.

osur866,
We can discuss this any time. Just give me a call when you can. We can send you test props to dial it in.

Payton, I think I do remember that. You already had those propellers and with the old power they were ok. If we can help with anything again....let me know.

Brett

Brett talked to Brad on Monday and sent 1 of my 29 M+'s to you for some tweaking, Brad said he'd have you call to discuss before going forward, should have tomorrow look forward to speaking with you on the matter. Steve

Ok,
We'll look for it.
It will take me a few days to do the inspection and get back to you.

Thank you and we'll talk soon,
Brett
