I think 26 B1's will be where you wind up.
The X wasnt near as aggressive with the boxes on it. I had it down to 13% with 28P5X, Kreed sounded to have it even better than that when he got 84mph out of it.
My buddies 40 with Konrads and 650's is in the 70's with 26 B1's. Heavier boat with trans.

-Just ran your numbers through a velocity calculator. With a weight of 10,500 lbs, hp at 1180, C factor of 190, you should run 72mph set-up/trimmed properly.
-Your present data has your C factor (hull efficiency) at 174, when it should be closer to 190. (it's behaving like a 13,000lb hull) When you do the math backwards with the supplied data, you weight comes out to 10,547lbs. It's clear there is more potential after drive hight/prop slip is figured out.
Fun stuff

Jamie did you get it out sat? kurts right about the hydros, there more a trans lifting prop. I bought a p5 for my boat to see, if we just had the wrong props on last nov. oh I need the glass guys phone # if you could call me. I want to get a price, in case this props not enough. watching my vids you can see its too much bow lift, that we are getting. and using a b1/ px5/ and herring round ear thats what you get. I'm going to laugh if this p5 prop works or is a improvement. on yours if the props B1 are an improvement but slip to much, brett could dial them in. a 50 to 60mph cruise speed is what most of us will be doing, on trips to block or Newport.(except Gerry his will be 80 to 120) you want to be comfortable with the wives/girlfriends in the boats. not getting yelled at plus if gas is high, I'll be running the big pulley to turn the power down. Gerry and I will be hitting plymouth a bunch if we can ,with the sand bar being close and cool to hang on. hows the p6 boat coming along? must be close. Art

Haven't had a chance to get back out, too much going on with the wedding and all my other projects. The race boat is coming along at an ok pace. Keith eickart put us 2 weeks behind by not shipping parts in time so were at a standstill until Tuesday. Reordered from Teague and parts should be here.

Borrowed a set of 28 bravo 1s to try, in theory and calculation I know there too high of a pitch but these motors make pretty good low to midrange torque, and the slip may be high enough to let me get away with it. We shall see maybe Sunday if I get my trailer all wrapped up
