Howdy,

Ok, what rpm were you at when you hit 60?
Also, what Hill propeller do you have? What 4 blade? Old or new?
You had water in the bidlge?

Had a 99 that was identical no tabs that would do 65 with 4 people and a full tank of fuel. This was with factory setup. Dont remember the prop other than it was 3 blade mirage plus. Fastest we got it to go was 71-72 with a little bit of chop and a half tank of fuel. Im surprised your not getting higher numbers.

Default prop and rpm

I had water and simple green in to clean bildge. Anyways (used)26p ron hill solid hub stainless steel 4 blade chopper i know nothing more on site it says sl 4 flow torque 2 solid hub i guess thats it. At sixty it was at 4700 assuming the tach is correct the speedo was correct via gps. The outdrive pretty much had to be all the way down barely any up and it would slow and wash so to say also a pig out of hole with massive bow lift starts to come out around 3500. The boat has been well taken care of new to me 170hrs 145 psi all holes. Next time out i will verifiy tach just expected more. Just talked to local guys in town with scarab same power and size and they gets 70 with 3 blade 25p mine has diff hull 98 powerquest raizor. Any help appreciated as this is first time out nice boat just not doing what i was told or expected and want to figure this out im coming up with 22% slip.

We had a 98 PQ Targa SX with 454 MPI and Bravo 1.5. It had the stock Mirage 23 Plus and it would do 60 (GPS) and no faster. No tabs and it would chine walk a little. The boat had 110hrs on it, perfect shape, stored inside its whole life and never abused.

I think testing some props is a great idea. Once you run it again we should discuss the options to get the slip down and increase performance.

The raizor was like a corvette on the water. Very fun boat. Im sure once you figure out the prop you'll be more than satisfied.

Default So my buddy flaked out on the props

Me and my gal went out sunday with full fuel and had her to 65 on my 26p 4 blade ron hill but it was intermittant 60 to 65 a few times wouldn't hold rpm's did hold. Still washes out at launch but came right out with the two of us, the prop acted the same at low mid and full lots of cavitation and pretty much have to have drive completely down. Talked to a friend and he said maybe not enough cup degrees or bite or something like that! Anybody hear of a 13 3/4 26p 4 blade not finding it anywhere even on his site im calling in the am. Marks behind sauvee island
