Props for Procharged Donzi 28zx
Hi Guys,
I just bought a 2000 Donzi 28zx with procharged 350 Mags. Just wondering if anyone has any experience propping one of these with superchargers. I have a set of Mirage Plus 25's to try but I'm hoping I'll need a lot more prop. Any idea how fast it might run?

Supply us with the actual HP rating and the wet weight of the boat and we can get you a propped speed calculation.
5000 rpm with the 25's should be close to the 70 mark.

Hello,
Where are your rev limiters set? The Model year of the boat would help. Ideally we would like to see you up the rev limiters to 5400 rpm ( if not there now), and run the correct pitch for that rpm, say 5350 rpm. The horsepower of the Pro Charged engines, and loaded boat weight will help us determine the speed of your boat. We can calculate the required pitch from this information. If your send your ECM's out to have the rev limiter raised, they can re-calibrate the fuel delivery, and spark advance curves to better suit the super charged application you have. Please call for details.
