Would these net the same RPM?: 17.5 X 35P 4 blade VS 16.5 X 35P 5 blade

Going from 4 to 5 blades we usually decrease diameter on the 5 blades by 1/2".
However, this is worth the test. since each application varies.

On a 36 skater, the boat has the 17.5 4 blades now and basically every 36 runs the best with 16.5 5 blades so pitch is really my only variable. Do you think cutting 1 inch diameter, adding 1 blade and staying the same pitch will be pretty close to the same rpm?
