how big of an issue does the drive shower pick up tubes play. The tubes do stick out pretty far under the cav plate, could they be causing a drag?

Don't worry about getting cam specs. The dyno sheet is enough.

Based on the dyno specs, I would prop it for 5600rpms at WOT.

Your prop slip is good at around 11%. You could try a 23 Mirage plus and that should gain you about 400rpms. Probably no speed gain though.'
I think your best bet would probably be to get the 25 labbed by BBlades over the winter.

For now, I'd probably just try and get some more seat time and play with trim settings. Do you have trim tabs??? Are you sure they are lifting high enough and not dragging at WOT??

What is the reason for not recommending a Bravo 4 blade here? You all have me thinking I need to reconsider by 4 blade on my 27.

I got a chance to test a bravo 1 24pLh prop. I am able to turn 5900-6000. I didn't pick up much speed 74-75mph now with 3/4 tank. So would that tell me the drive maybe to deep or something else ?
Thanks

Had a 26cv with a 540 and Bravo. Running a 25p making 650hp spinning 5400 we ran 76 on GPS. Boat had a bit of a hook in the hull. If that helps.

the 26 cv is was a nice hull
downfall was welcraft built the cored bottom boat,,,
and welcraft was known for chopper gun builds
as how a lot of older hulls were done
so the cv that I spoke of had 2 delam spots on the bottom
and was pretty wavy
I repaired the bottom and blueprinted bottom with a 400 grit finsh
with a 502 cleaned up approx. 575-600hp
bravo -2 gearcase to be legal in the class
boat broke 80s and was 10mph faster than before work done
I also saw a 2nd cv that I just repaired the soft spots but no other work
so the 2 ive seen were not flat,,,,,,
