Mercury Racing. Done by a great technician who I used to work with in May of 1999 to a standard Merc lab recipe

Thanks! The slip is 27% at cruise so I think I will be giving them back to the owner. They work great on his early stepped 42 Fountain, not so much on a straight bottom 37 Active Thunder.

I would encourage you to test (through our test program) a set of our new 4-SPEEDS. They have more diameter and cup to help with your slip issues. Here is a link!

BBLADES 4-SPEED (sterndrive application) from BBlades Professional Propellers

Call us and we can arrange it if you desire.

I tried 1" drive spacers with the above mentioned 28" labbed props. I saw 3 mph increase in my cruise speed at 3800 RPM's and better bow lift. Would like a little more overall bow and stern lift to maybe loosen up the boat, the boat never frees up. It just might be the the hull.

0 on the drive indicators the drives are tucked, ~4.0 the drives are neutral and 7.5-8.0 gives the best speed/efficiency.

Brett, I have another pair of labbed props that I can try. (BB5535 X, BB5536 x) Any chance you would be able to tell me the characteristics of these labbed props vs the Mercury racing labbed props and stock Bravo 1's? They are on a '94 38' straight bottom Fountain. I kinda have my boat up and gas drained.

Thanks,
Jason

These props are Labbed with more rake angle to carry the bow and have a slightly thinner profile for acceleration and speed than the standard Merc recipe.

Thanks as always. I'll just wait till next summer to try those.
With the 1" spacers I can now try my 4 blade Spinelli's and 4 blade Spinelli round ears.
