Finally got back up today and what a difference that 3 blade made. Motor turned really nice and went 52 mph at 5000 rpm, and it went 40 mph and 4000 rpm all day long. It still would not turn over 5200 ish and felt like it hit a wall again but this time much closer to full throttle. So should I be going down to like a 18 pitch? I am going to lean it out again and see if that helps as well.
dereknkathy I might just have to buy that prop off you. You know the diameter?

No. Keep this 3 blade on it for now and tune this engine !
Holley states that for every 1,000ft increase, reduce jet size 1#.
But, for some reason you did not tune the carb when on the dyno in Reno. Reno is only 1000ft or so less elevation than Tahoe.

BTW:
3% HP loss per 1,000ft = 3%
Lake Tahoe Elevation = 6,225 ft
Lake Tahoe Hp Loss compared to sea level = 18%

620 x .18 = 111 loss
620-111 = 509 HP on Lake Tahoe (when tuned correctly ! )

My plan is to keep a 3 blade but maybe change the pitch on it? I am rejetting the carb this morning to take it back out today. I had already dropped the jetting from they dyno 2 jet sizes and will be dropping to a 73 or 72 now.

I was not present at the dyno and the guy new it was pig fat but was kind of an ass and refused to do any tuning, so I will not going back to him for a dyno. He also put **** headers on it when he had good ones. Not my best experience for a first dyno tune LOL.
