Default Strange Cockpit vinyl....not sure what its called.

Was at the chicago boat show. Noticed on alot of new boats, and waverunner seats, they are using some strange material. Its almost like a canvas/neoprene kinda material. Anyone seen it? Looking to find out what its actually called.

I'd like to know more about this. I've never heard about it before.

Its pretty cool stuff. More like a fabric feel than vinyl. Hard to explain .

Quite a few actually Mike. I saw it on the chris craft 32 launch, Four winns, ski nautique, some new waverunner seats, pontoons, etc.

I was also very impressed with some of the new materials, the swim platform seadeck was great, the pearl vinyl with a carbon fibre weave pattern was nice and what I think you are referring to was a sort of light weight nylon that didnt appear to be water resistant but apparently it is.
See the second and last pic below
