Default More out of Verado 150

Just like the title says, I was wondering what can be done to a 2008 Mercury Verado 150. This engine is on a 2008 Angler 204 FX CC. This is just a fishing/ family fun boat , but there's always room for improvement! I've read that the ECU can be re-flashed for more power. Any help would be appreciated!

Whipple Supercharges has an ECM upgrade for the 200 (4cyl) and bigger hp engines - not sure if they support the 150 or 175hp.

Have you looked at scream and fly???... not exactly Verado country over there but another O/B avenue to check out

I contacted Whipple and they said they can re flash the ECU and we could expect about 75 more horsepower!!

SB, if it was my boat I'd go nuts. This is actually my buddy's boat. I forwarded the info to him and he couldn't believe that much power from only a tune. But since the Verado is supercharged I knew there had to be some room for improvement.

Did the same thing to a Kawasaki side by side when they first came out, ended up with a big bore kit lol. Oops! Well I never missed tuning an expensive bbc in the 8.50 cars, 2 cyl kawi, blew it up in 20 seconds lol
