I did call Dan once early on in my project. He was busy so we only had a few mins. I'm not water bound tell next year as I'm doing some crazy deck mods. I have new stringers, transom, bulkheads, etc. and I'm doing all custom dash and most of the deck.

Your is awesome and I'll wait to see how it runs. Keep me in the loop

K, starboard stringer in the cockpit was damaged so Dan repaired; the shop that originally pulled the tank punctured the glass somehow and water went inside. Front & rear bulkheads were replaced. The transom was surprisingly perfect. Therefore, we believe all the damage was caused by the shop that pulled the tank not installing the PVC drain tubes back properly, flooding the cuddy and tank compartment with water. Dan has also setup the tank compartment to drain at the top in the even water were to get inside through the deck. Drainage is key!

Hopefully the end of the month, but it comes down to getting the interior finished.

I know a shop in NC that just made a custom interior for that same boat. They can remake I believe.

Default Scarab 28 - rear bench seat

Dan fabricated this bench seat; it won't rot! It look so darn good I hate to cover it up. Notice it doesn't bud-up against the bulkhead. We'll install speakers facing the front; no carpeting.

Default Scarab 28 - upper drive

Since we're installing an Imco 3" shortie, Dan had to modify the tail to allow enough room for the prop. It's essentially a Team Scarab upper. The drive shaft is also longer to work with the Mercury ITS.

Would love to see what it looks like, but I think we have it figured out.
