better light weight construction = faster w/ same power.

from what i understand... same hull and deck.

Re: Saber verses Apache

If I had my pic. I would definatly rather have a new Saber like storm said better , lighter & stronger material now than in the past. I will also add that Saber's build quality speaks for itself if you have ever looked at one up close & if not & you are remotly interested in one I would Highly advise taking an up close look as you will be impressed.

Re: Saber verses Apache

Saber does not use any of the fore mentioned Kevlar ect? I love both boats but i am told to be extremely careful in buying an Apache (alot are over twenty years old, raced in salt water ,hulls particular transoms reglassed ect, ect.)Not to mention i ABSOLUTEY refuse to pay more now (twenty years later)then a boat went for new.(Some people are asking over 350,000.00)

I appologize. I did not realize that all where Kevlar & some Kevlar & carbon combo. I just assumed that some where Kevlar but not all. I guess thats what I get for assuming. Anyway NOT taking anything away from apache but if I had the choice ( which I don't see happening in the near future.)
I would choose a new Saber over a used Apache just for the
simple fact that I would rather have new than used. I am not trying to start a war Just my humble opinion. Both are equally Awsome & extremelly well built boats That I would be more than glad to own or even be seen in for that matter ! Like donz said Chevy vs. GMC.

The race or race/pleasure setups where over $400,000.00 when new.

It's ok...no argument intended.
Next Spring I will have the Comanche up and running. You are welcome to come aboard and enjoy a ride.
