Ya i did get your email just now. all the paint is the thing i really dont like about he boat. Boats being repainted is what took me away from the magunms just because it seemed like every one had been repainted one time or another.

Whats a good price for a Saber 28 in good cond? there are two in MI for sale one is this one and the other hes asking like 45k-50k i think but has some early 90's graphics on the side that really date the boat. that one is also in Grand Haven. area. so neither are really close just to get an up close and look.

Its funny the boats i like hare limited production boats. LOL to bad fountain or other big compies didnt have something to a build of the magnum, saber or pantera. LOL

Too true, Torch is a beautiful lake but when I saw you up there this summer the boat had turned out great.
Hull 4 was the last with the narrower chines They ride incredible in rough water, just not big turners!

The 28 in Grand Haven has big power and is real fast. The singles ran nice just not barn burners Very solid. You won't see any problems with any of the 28's structurally Good luck
NK

Leopajm How was the summer?

took a look at the 88 saber today . the interior is set up quite a bit different, fuel tank behing the back seat ski locker in the floor, dash very dated, single throttle, porta potty closet that made the cabin seem small but has some nice features . 500 hp for power and old style internal full hyd. steering. Boat was originaly red gel as seen chine line down , bottom has one coat of bottom paint that peels off with your finger nail. boat could use some tlc on the interior vinly looks to be stained, all white with red piping black carpet . boat would make a good project if it could be picked up for the right price, and could be used as is and be proud to own a saber!!!!! hey parn next you see me at the sand bar at torch stop by say hi usually have cooler full of boating drinks and a rafting party full of partiers

here's a thought ... how would a 28 saber work out as a "sit-down" style hot rod ??? one of my neighbors changed his interior to a sit down in one of the old O/B racers and it seems to work pretty well !? Just a thoght .....
