thanks, I have been watching for 2 yellow 28 sabers to come up, one was white with yellow painted sides t-7.3 and the other was "killer bee" pre-hp-500's, I think they were 572's ???
both were nice rides.

I built the 7.3 boat ... and the traded it in for the "killer bee" which was the Powerboat mag. Giant Killer boat . Those were the old "465" when built then changed to HP500 specs. Both great rides ! The 7.3 is around Grand Haven somewhere still and the other one went to Florida.

I wasn't too far from buying the 7.3 boat 3-4 years ago when it was up for sale.. Dude's name was Burt Reynolds (hard to forget) that had it at the time listed here on OSO... Clean looking boat, timing was just a couple months off..
Jerry, I knew the twin 465-500hp boat was yours but had no idea you had the twin 454 boat built..

As for converting a twin OB to an I/O a person better have their ---- together b/c it would be no easy task !! There is no way you could come out if you had to pay to have it done !! No way !! & in all reality even if you done all the labor , ect.. ect.. yourself it would be questionable if it was worth it.. I wasn't far from pulling the trigger on a 33 pp O/B that I was going to slice up when I bought the Saber.. I bought the Saber b/c it was the "easier" conversion..
