Doug, how about a 28 with twin Chevy LS9s, Stelling boxes, 380's and Bravo's. Super light with 1,272 hp. If you want to keep cost down try two LSAs. 1,160 has a nice ring to it too.

So has this boat been out.... What speeds how does it handle. Do you need to use tabs? Not sure what to do on mine. Part it out. Put a bravo style driver
on it with my 509 650 hp and sell it. It's August and have heard zip on this twin running.

They are prop testing and working with Merc Racing on a couple of things. It will be a very strong runner. I think Doug and Jamie want to get it dialed in before they start posting numbers

ok thanks for info. I had to walk away from mine for a year. theres one of 4 things I am doing this fall. going to have boat bottom worked on either take rocker out and make a pad bottom or a vee keel. see if it helps porpoise. or sell drive set up put a scx on it. or sell hull buy friends Sutphen 33 without trs drives put konrads on and sell my blower motor and 509. buy two 572s..I do regret buying the konrad for this hull. I saw it work on a superboat so I thought it was fine for the saber. I do not regret buying the saber though. its got balls last time out testing ran it to 80 82 for a few seconds to hear the blower whine over the 5'' headers dry WOW. tabs 3/4s down ran smooth. trimed all in to. had 1/3 throttle left. this boat should run 100 or close if I can figure it out. later
