29scarabs motor is on the dyno
We got the ECM back an back on the dyno this week.
509cid
Whipple supercharged
8.5 JE pistons
cam, don't have exact specs but around 600 lift
heads, stock with mild porting
scrapped stock fuel system and replced with new earoquip pump, filter, regulator
First time ECM sent to Dustin. 570HP to 4500 rpm before leaning out. Just got it back from MArk at Precision and going back on the dyno this week and see if it can make it to around 5400rpm with out any fuel problems

Re: 29scarabs motor is on the dyno
I'm hoping for between 670 and 700HP. Speeds are hoping mid 70's to low 80's. Its a heavy boat for one engine to push, but I'm being optimistic.
I will have to do the engine break in and then start playing with props. Thats a ways down the road. I'll keep everyone informed!
