approximate fuel consumption for ScarabIII and Mercruiser MCM370hp

I am looking for rough numbers for fuel consumtion for a pair of Mercruiser MCMs rated at 370hp.

Ideally a rough indication for various speeds / RPM would be good...!!!

I have a number at the moment of 35 GPH (for BOTH engines) that gives about 45-55mph....

Any other numbers from you guys?? Especially lower speed numbers.

Cheers
Stef

Best Fuel consumption in a Scarab III will be around 3200RPM (up on plane cruising around 40mph), rather than at low speeds when the boat is not on plane and is pushing water.

...and that would give about 35GPH for the pair?

Well it would depend on what engines you have, and it is rare that you would be running that RPM for an hour. But generally speaking it would be somewhere around that.

THIS IS FOR 2 ENGINES!!!!
Got some interesting numbers for you… RPM v US Gal per Hour Consumption for 7.4L Mercruisers:
1000
3.5

2000
6.8

2500
18

3000
23.3

3500
30.8

4000
43

4400
50

Thought you might find these useful – you can add your third column of speed to get an interesting idea of range etc
