Re: pics of my scarab
Thanks !
She cleans up pretty good. The color has to be brought back to life. I worked on the port side and came out O.K., needs to be done again. You might be able to see the difference in the pics
I'm probably leaving her in a slip for the season, but no bottom paint. I'll have to take her out every other week to clean if I don't use her. Any help on what to use on the bottom to help the situation?

Re: pics of my scarab
If you want your boat to shine you need to talk with Brian . He is the best boat detailer in the area. He gets about $10 ft. I have him do the scarab twice a season. Chris uses him once a month. If your interested Ill dig up his #. Well worth it. The boat never looked so good.
I'm hot sure what he uses on the botom, what ever it is it helps keep the river skum off.

If you're using a power buffer, the best rubbing compound for oxidation is called IOSSO. If you can't find it locally , their phone#is 847-437-8400. It's like $10 for a small tin, but a little goes a long way. Next best is 3M heavy oxidation remover.
