Frankscarab or anyone:
do your boats have Blackhawks or Bravos.
Would like any input regarding 350efi's and the different drives. I saw a P29 for sale with the Blackhawks and could have some interests.

Chuck,
all the P series 29Scarabs with 350's I believe have the blackhawk drives. They are a surface drive that performs very well. I haven't heard of many problems with them they are pretty solid.
P29steve will probably chime in with some more info for you.

Curious about speeds at different RPMs and possible fuel flows.
What was the hp of the 350 efis?

The Blackhawks make the boat idle very fast compared to a alpha or bravo. I like the look of the solid windshield on the p29 , the windshield is useless anyway. Nice boat with all the goodies like sport tabs and indicators, ext steering. Go for it if the $ are right.

Hi Chuck
I don't know , mine have Bravo 1 HP, and i've try it after redone only 5 minutes with two mirage plus 21 and i hit the rev limiter at 5100 at 67 mph .
And 38 mph at 3000trs

I have a 95 with twin supercharged small blocks and Blackhawks. Boat runs beautiful. I wouldn't go back to the stock power. This boat is achieving speeds in the 90's.

my p-29 has the 350efi motors and i like them alot and they are not hard on fuel either. my blackhawk drives have not gave me any problems and i have owned the boat for 6 years. the blackhawk drives are 8 1/2 inches shorter then the bravo drive. here are some pics of mine.
