Hi everyone
I've got a scarab 29 2000 with 2x 350 mag 300hp
one is running always at 150 degree celcius and the other always near 110 to 120 degree, is it bad , and is it thethermosthat ?
i've heard the best temperature is 160 degree .
Thanks for your help

I hope you mean fahrenheit.
Mine runs about 105 to 110, but I don't have a thermostat in mine. Does your engine have closed cooling or not? things to check for would be:
1.Whens the last time you changed your raw water pumps?
2. Is there a way to swap the sensors in block to see if its a gauge or a bad sensor.
3. Do you have another way to check your water temps with an alternate temperature reading source?
Nine times out of ten I have seen a bad raw water pump impeller.
Do some simple checks and I think you will find where the problem is.
Good luck!

It's not your water pump if it's running cold. You may have something stuck in the t-stat holding it open, or the gauge /sender isn't reading properly. Have somebody check it with an infrared heat gun.(most mechanics have one)
