Thats it from MV. I have tons of other Scarab KV pictures of the MV model and normal models I have found over the years on the web. Going through my pic files revealed more than I thought. I just love that boat. Almost bought one a few years ago, but the owner decided not to sell the day before I was picking it up. Thats life I guess. I was over paying anyway....

My father has owned one from the show since 86. We are now restoring it after a 13 year period of sitting. The boat came with 400 cyclones and from what I remember ran pretty strong with that little power|(I was young at the time). I'd love to share some pics once we get it back from the shop. Its got several stressed areas and the overall paint/condition is rough. The engines are rebuilt and ready to go in for the upcoming season.

You located in NJ then?
There´s at least one of the TV boats..all in all there´s 6 of them.
a 86 in NJ, 87 "Stunt boat" in Finland that was given to DJ but used in filming, 86 in Norway (Camera boat) and the 89 boat which can be seen in only one episode as a still boat is in Germany.
Or have we located the 5th one?

Theres an 87 KV vice series in around rochester ny ( i believe ogden) reportedly from the show that still has the camera mounts on the bow, and has the flush deck configuration. Ive seen the boat at alex bay and the Oswego harborfest.
