1997 Scarab SCS help please
Hey guys haven't posted in a while as the Scarab I was going to buy last summer fell thru.
Anyway,I have purchased a 1997 SCS with a 502 mag MPI in average condition. It needs some gelcoat work to be in the condition that I would like it to be and it will be going to the body shop this month.
The problem is the windshield/watershield is cracked and needs replaced but I just cannot seem to locate an OEM or even an aftermarket windshield.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You Can Make Your Own Out Of 3/8 Plexi And Use A Heat Gun To Form It Using The Old One As A Guide.
Epoxy The Crack And Sand Then Paint.
Pm Acrylico Here On The Board He Reproduce Them.
Also You Can Try To Call Marine Surplus In Sarasota.
Is This What You Are Looking For

Yes that's the one.Great ideas that you have given me.Thank you. Will try to get one from acrylico or marine surplus.I would rather have a remanufactured windshield rather than repair mine as this boat is going thru a total resto.

Dont know what the charge is for your boat but mine was $350.00 plus $100.00 shipping.
Just do a search on this forum for the guy and send him a personal message with your request. He'll get back to you asap as he did with me.

As I have found out myself with my SCS you won't get anything from wellcraft as they do not make our boats anymore.
You'll need to have trim pieces reconditioned or remade.Any sign or graphics place can make decals for you. What you can do also is design the decals to your liking and personlize your boat to your taste.Good luck.
