First time out on 33 Scarab
Picked up the 33 today and took out for a quick checkout run on Lake Austin... yes I know the river is a a bit small... but the boat ran great. The sales guy got it up to 78 (it was pretty humid even for Austin) myself a bit over 60. The boat has corsa exhaust and even with them wide open there was nary a bit of noise form the engines. My buddy who was waiting by the truck said it sounded great running past. I was truly amazed at the stability and power. We got on plane without even using the tabs.
Tomorrow for the big check out on Galveston Bay ..... more later
