Hey Cool .. Is it at the output or in the engine bay (input)
The statement "res" threw me off.
I think I have the same setup as you .. External steering and all .. Mine is dry but have heard of others blowing out steering fluid at high RPM out the "res" but just a blow by type thing ... Few drops.. tablespoon ..

it was leaking down the lower unit (sorry forgot to say that in last post) onto the ground.

Guys, can someone post a detail shot of the engine latch? I just bought an SCS and the latch is missing the metal clip thingy so it's not working right. I may need to fab something up - marina was supposed to but they are lazy.
But the boat was definitely worth it.

Thanks, but when I picked up the boat, much to my delight the marina had sourced a brand new latch and had it airfreighted for installation. Needless to say I'm quite happy now, and am amazed that the latch is still made 10 years on.

Just a teaser pic of the 500 mile haul home:
By the way, I am the original owner of the boat - never before titled, 2.17 hours on the motor - I'll tell the whole story when I'm back from launching it!
