Just brought the scarab just wondering if there are any windscreen options out there? Also what kind of top speed should i see. It has a single 502 415hp. Is there any scarab clothing out there or decals that i can order? Took it out this weekend and loved every min. i was on it!!!! Thanks

I would say 64 mph. There were two options, a windshield and a race style fairing. Mine had the fairing on it, I liked it much better then the windshield but the windshield prolly made it better for the rear seat passengers to see. The fairing was actually made from alum, good luck ever finding one.

There was also a lower end option for a plexi fairing for those boats. If you do a search on the subject, somewhere in there I recall the name of the company who used to make them for Wellcraft. they were located in Fla. if I remenber correctly.

My buddy has a 1998 29 502/415 Single and she runs 64 (Speedo) and 62Gps in fresh water with little chop.

I'm looking at a 'Flip up" style wind screen for mine (29 Scarab Twin) even sitting down I stick out like a Bobble-Head doll with my 6'3 frame.

Just sold mine few months back!

There awesome boats!! And can hang with the best of them in the rough stuff!!

It takes some power to get them to move. Owned mine for 11 years!

Congrats
