Superior strength! The transom is rock solid.

And yes, it's a little heavier, but not more than 50 lbs compared with a regular transom.

Thats correct.

We removed the grid work and replaced it with 5/8" layers of divinycell.

i'm inspried; great job. btw, do those tabs work with the side -by- side drive dimesnsion?

The drives came of a 42’ Cougar in England, and I bought them last year for a very reasonable price.
They are used with very few hours, and looks like new.

Absolutely awesome KV! It inspires me to attack my transom. What is the procedure for going all fibreglass?
