Anyone familiar with this scarab?

This is presently for sale with the following description "540ci blocks, Mga Blowers, Super Chiller, Stainless Marine Exhaust, Latham Steering, Electric Bolsters, Vaccuflush Head, Custom Hatch, Bravo Drives, Imco Lowers, 2 sets of Props, " asking price is $80K, it's a 97 hull. Any advise or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have a 22 sea ray pachanga now and want to step up.

2000 33 Scarab AVS
Where is it located? Looks like MD? There is one that fits the description in NJ. 80k is a lot of money for that boat in my humble opinion. You could be looking at newer 33 AVS versions for around the same money as that one.

38' Scarab P-38
that is a very clean 31', by as stated you could almost get a 33' to that amount or a 38' if you prefer. I have to say I loved my 31'. I've heard stories about 33' scarabs and handling issues, but they are faster(I'd guess about 4-7 mph woth the same power). Good luck Mike
