Default Unknown switches on the Dash, Are they factory?

There are these three switches located on the dash of my 84 scarab 300 S-type. They are just to the right of the steering column. The switch on the left is kind of like a joystick while the center switch is a on-off-on and the knob on the right is well you guessed it a rotary switch? Is this factory and what is it for? I suppose I will find out when I pull the instrument cluster apart this fall but thought someone could tell me before then.

Thanks in advance

Ejection seat switch. Don't hit it with your old lady sitting next to you or you'll have some explaining to do.

Hook up a NOS system to that button and turn your boat into a sleeper. Your buddies will never know what hit them.
