P-38 Maiden voyage Lake Elsinore
Well I finally lake tested my 38' today. When I got to Elsinore nobody was on the water. The wind was kicking up, but the 38 took it in stride.I was there to adjust fuel pressure( that's a whole different story in the tech section). Ran good , pulls up on a plane better than my 31' did (4 blade props and an extra 400 hp). I'd like to iron out the few issues the boat has and maybe take it to Havasu on Nov.the 3rd.....Mike

Yeah Nova 26. I picked it up w/o engines, Justin kept them to install in a boat he bought w/o power. I stuck a pair of rebuilt 575sci mercs w/ superchillers. I am doing a trade to get a pair of labbed 28" B1s' right now (currently has a pair of labbed 26" B1s). And still have a few adjustments to do including sending one ECM back to Derebery to have reprogrammed, rerouting a couple mof fuel lines and repairing worn gimbal parts. Just running out of funds right now w/holidays and slow work.

Nova 26, yeah I think it is the only P38. I was told it was originally built for Israel for some rich guy who liked the P29 but wanted a 38'. It has "magic brush" painted on the side. It is even set up for 220v (inside wall socket was Israeli). It had the shore power connector and batt charger switched over when I got it and I have switched over the air con water pump and wall socket. Next is the air con assembly, circuit breakers and ac voltmeter.cheers mike

Michael,
Does that mean you're converting the shore power back to 110v??
