Looked at a new 38 Scarab at the boat show last night

Very nice with 500's. Fit and finish looked great as well. Very impressed. Boat stickered at $189,000.

I’ve always liked the look of the current 38 Scarab. In terms of styling, I like it better than the current 36 Outlaw. It’s natural that I would like it though - it looks just like a 29 Outlaw on steroids.

If I were a buyer however, I would opt for the 36 Baja.

Talking Re: Looked at a new 38 Scarab at the boat show last night

Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and just bought a 38' Scarab kv it is a 1987 but in new shape with twin 496's dynod at 550 hp each.If you seen the Miami Vice boat you know what mine looks like same colors and everything.I pick it up tomorrow can't wait! I picked it up for 52,000.00 and had a survey done and it booked for 62,576.00 I think it was a good deal? My last boat I just sold was a 87' 24 foot Baja sport(Outlaw hull) did not like the ride, this is a big jump in size but just fell in love with it and it does 76mph I think thats quick for a 38 foot boat.We were going to buy a IMP or Hustler or Thunder boat and are happy with this Scarab for the ride it is nice not spilling a drink at 70 mph our Baja would throw you all around never again!
