The water pump pulley is aftermarket. I bought it off ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
I then glass beaded it and had it powdercoated. The crank pulley is alum. and is what came on the engines when I bought them.
Someone did spend some money on the exhaust! and I reaped the benefits when I bought the boat
In all honesty, when I went and test drove the boat I basically made the decision to buy the boat because of what was under the hatches. The engines have merlin big port heads, Dart Intakes, IMCO power flow dry pipes and after tearing them down very little running time! The way I look at it I could sell the engines, drives, external hydraulic steering with full hydraulic helm, tri axle alum. I-Beam trailer and make more then I paid for the whole package!

Problem is ,,if the foam is mixed wrong it will eventually shake loose and bust either the tank or the hull ( sory ,,but i have seen that happen ).
U may want to check that and if ness. rip it back out and start over .
I have a picture how it looks when mixed correct ,,that is also the reason why it did not expand like it should ,,,,the pic is to big ,,so i could e-mail it and somebody can post it for me .?!
I am serious about this ...just trying to help ,,,don't want to bust your b@lls !!!!

Daredevil - I am sure I mixed it correctly. I used paint mixing cups for measuring and made sure it was always 1:1 because I wasn't sure how sensitive the ratio was.
I also figured out why my calculations were off. When I calculated the area around the tank I figured it based on the old tank size. This tank is about 15 gallons smaller then the factory tank simply so it could be installed easier. Hence why I was short on foam
The pictures I posted were when the foam was still expanding which is why it may look soft. Trust me, that tank isn't going anywhere! If it ever stops raining here I will snap some photos of the finished product! I would be interested in seeing the photo you have. I will PM you with my email.
Thanks

I do plan to wrap it but it won't be this year. This year I might just throw some stripes on it or who knows maybe keep it all white!

Whats the finish going to be like after blasting it? I've never seen soda blasting work. Do you color sand and buff it?

When I delivered the boat I had him perform a test shot and once the blue was removed the gelcoat under it probably was like the equivelent of 800 paper. I am hoping with some wet sanding and buffing it will come right back. I will snap some photos when I bring her home.
