Default 84 Scarab Renovation (ongoing)

I have been saying for a while that I was going to start a thread showing the progress on my 84 scarab s-type renovation. I will post pictures as often as I can throughout the renovation.. Enjoy

You like the rod holders? You can have them for real cheap money if you would like!

The instrumentation is in decent shape, all the switches need to be replaced and the wiring has some ghosts! When I took it for a test drive alot of the needles were twitching!

Removal of all wires from the boat! As you can see I removed the engines already, What a pain in the ass! Big Blocks are a tight fit!

Fuel tank removal.....Westcoast you wern't kidding when you said it was a pain in the ass job! The only good thing for me I guess is the fuel leak was so bad that the Foam was fully saturated which meant it wasnt stuck to the tank anymore, After draining the tank then filling it with water, cutting part of the top off and then cutting it in half it came out pretty easily
