Default Scarab 377 on Boattrader

Hello there,

I am Vincent from the Netherlands and i'm looking for a Scarab 377. They are hard to find, but now i found one on Boattrader.com. I was wondering what opinion you guys have about this boat and the price? Do you guys think i can trust this? It looks almost to good to be true for that price.

Please let me know! And by the way, if someone lives near Dodgeville, WI, maybe you could check the boat out for me

Anyway, looking forward to all your opinions!

Vincent

Hey Vincent, welcome to the board. Looks like the price is a typo. Might want to confirm the price before you proceed any further. Even at $52,000 the price wouldn't be out of line if the boat is in extremely good condition with upgrades. If it's average with age related issues, then the price would need some work IMO. They don't give you a whole lot of info to work with. If the boat had a lot of good points you would think they would want to list them. See if you can get more info from them and take it from there. At that point if it looks promising you can send in a surveyor. I live 2 hours North of Dodgeville, but would never beable to get down there to look at it.

HI, I have a scarab 377 kaama edition (flat deck), This boat looks just like the 38 kv. The boat is all black with a gold stripe and twin 454's. I've been thinking of selling it and if you might be interested, I could email you. I will try to load some larger pics on my member gallery here, but my computer is pretty slow. (81scarabkaama in the member galleries under the photos section).

Here are some photos. By the way, the price is $ 5200,-........ It really sounds too good to be true, but if it is true.....then i'm the happiest man in the Netherlands!!!!

The email i got from the owner tells me the following:

"The boat is 100% working and looking AMAZING,is like new ,in perfect conditions, accident free, no scratches, no special marks, no need for additional repairs what so ever,no engine problems. I will include all receipts/paperwork along with the boat. The price I'm after is 5200 $, but I am also looking forward to sensible offers."
