25 POWERPLAY, 29' PHANTOM & 36 SKATER
Thanks Jody.

Just talked to the owner. He's sending pics and vin in a few.

The boat isn't exactly what I expected. He stated it is a flat deck raceboat, but it does have the front setup for a cabin (no extra bulkheads), there is two bow hatches and the side windows were cutout. This suggests a pleasure model, no?
He was told "this is one of the rare scarabs" (whatever that means).

He does think this was a kevlar boat. Stated something about some yellow being visible in the construction. Need to look into it more.

Again, this is a stripped 30' 1978 Flat deck setup for twins. Curious to see the pics and the VIN.

Ok, more details

VIN does start with a W.

Take a look at the pics. Stripped as expected but not sure if this is even a model that was raced. Is the boat worth $300?

NO!

30 S-Type to much work to stick money into it. In this market you can get one he!! of a boat for what you would stick into that. but I'm sure you know that.

Fantastix, run as fast as possible away from that boat. It has been on Craigslist for a long time and from the looks of it it is just rotting away.

No worries guys, I'm not buying it. Not the style I like and the $ required wouldn't be worth it. I was just thinking a $300 beater and 800hp might be kinda fun....
