Scarab Fittipaldi question

A friend of mine is looking at a 1993 Scarab Fittipaldi and would like to know anything you guys can tell him about them. In particular, he thinks that boat had a Kevlar hull. Is this true? Any info would help - thanks!

Is the boat 34 ft long? If it is it is the same as the 34 scarab hull but may have more tricks. Havn't heard about kevlar use in that hull.

hello there,
I just purchased a '93 Fittipaldi Scarab in October here in So.Cal. and yes,I do believe it has a Kevlar hull.I am interested in what your friend has to say about the boat he/she is looking at,as I have very little info on the boat myself.Please have the your friend or the seller contact me off the list if possible at qas2@uia.net .BTW where is this boat?THanks,Mike

The paperwork I have shows it to be just a cosmeticly different version of the 34 excell that I own. All the specs are the same. The fittipaldi just has the spoiler on the back.

Yes,I did buy Corky's boat.I have been ironing little things out on it this winter but that is just part of boating.It is coming around good.Runs good at 75 mph(gps) with dual 502 mpi's with 25"mirages.Can't wait till the river.
