scarab 29 makeover

Hi there ! Are there anyone outhere that know if its possible to buy new ventintakes to the scarab 29 : The ones that are on each side of the engine ?? Thanks in advanced Niclas Sweden

There are a lot of threads on this. Seems since they are made of plastic and stick out past the rub rail , everyone smacks them up. Have never really seen anyone do a nice job of making them over out of metal , glass , at all so I went to work with the west epoxy and re did the old ones good as new!!

31' Scarab Thunder
If you have access to a mill and one in good condition for a reference you could make a nice replacement out of Alum...might have to give that a try
