Default Drive spacer question for 29 scarab single

I would like to know if anybody with high horsepower use's a drive spacer ? And if so what size with a 4 blade prop ?

I have 900 hp. And as the tourque come on the prop cavatates I am trying to spend a 30 pitch bravo 4 blade.
Ant thought any help would be great Thanks....

Thanks Jeff , But I only have a single. And the boat runs very well with some of my fat friends in the back seat. So would that mean that I need a spacer in there? And a bravo 1 for now. imco xr drive next month.
THOUGHTS ????

I had a 29 single engine with 820hp with a 1 inch shorty and had no problem getting on plane with a 26 bravo one spinning 5800 rpm what are turning rpm wise?

I have only spun the motor up to 5200 and the prop slipage is horable. What was your prop slipage ? And was that a 3 or 4 blade prop ? And thank you for responding:cool :

4200 rpms @ 56 mph with a 30 pitch prop. the propellar lifts the rear of the boat when hose power is being produced.

at what rpm range is peak horsepower and peak torque? my prop was 26 pitch 4 blade if you are using a 3 blade it will never work with that much hp in that heavy of a boat in a single engine application. where is your propshaft in relation to bottom of the hull?
