Dumas 55" Scarab 38 KV model kit
Well it looks like I found me a kit on e/bay and should be here later in the week, I don't know if I REALLY need the kit since I am having a Ready to Go 55" shcokwave painted up like my Scarab--was curious if anyone on here has built this kit and what you thought of it?

I Have The Dumas Scarab Kv, Allready Painted Bty Previous Owner,it Was Never Rigged With Motor Or Flex Drive.
From What I Learned They Were Intended To Run On A Nitro Motor, With A Single Flex Shaft.
It's Got All The Railing, Vents ...
My Intentions Are To Purchase 2 "Rcm" Drives Or Their Blackhawk Drives, No Motors
They Also , Not Dumas Have Exact Black Trim Tabs . I found chrome thru hull exhaust angle tips also, all to scale
I'm Going To Use It For Display Only.
Dumas Still Has Some Parts Even Though They No Longer Make The Boat, Give Them A Call.

I will have to do an inventory when I get the model. I think all the railings are included, I see Dumas still has some dress up kits for $18.00
I will post some pics when I get the kit.

38' Scarab KV kit by Dumas --I built one a couple of years ago. The engine is an OS 90, 3 channel RC radio, has a 1/4 scale servo for the rudder, one servo for the throttle and one servo for the onboard needle control valve for the fuel. Ran on 40% nitro fuel. Good Luck with your project.

have a Dumas Scarab KV38 55 inch with Picco 90, built it quite some time ago, was not used much been sitting on the shelf, needs radio equipment, has lectra starter on board starting system, for sale if anyone is interested, baricevich@aol.com
