Just thought I would post this for informational value. It took some digging but I found the door latch assembly for most Scarabs. The latch is made by Mobella which is owned by Southland Marine. I believe this is for most Scarabs that have the white sliding door made by Viplex.

Another interesting fact. I spoke to the lady about this and if you have lost your key, another can be made by looking up the lock code which is located on the inside black latch area. It is a 3 number sequence.
They normally sell the latch for $139 but since I had problems with my existing latch, they sold it to me for OEM pricing which was $63 including shipping.
You can also buy the striker part of the latch separately if yours has broken.
