87 22' Scarab1 Advice needed

Hey guys, I have a 1987 Scarab1 22ft. I'm just about done with the 383 stroker motor were building for it 425hp I'm kinda confused what cam I should run. I here alot about water/exhaust reversion. I for sure don't want any part of that. Any advice on the lift, cam selection etc?

Also can I stick with the same ratio in the alpha 1? It did have a stock 5.7 260hp. I know you are all going to slam me on the alpha. I have a few friends that run Alphas with just about the same hp that I will be running and they do just fine. Just have to go easy on the hole shot. Thanks in advance for any help...
