1972 48' Pacemaker,
Thru Hull Exhaust **DONE**

I know lots of you already had this done and it's pretty much no big deal, but starting out with thru prop and getting to see the difference to thru hull is amazing. It was no small chore getting thru the 2+ inches of transom either. Any how what an incredible difference in the boat.
Thanks to Westcoast and the others that chimed in with much needed advice for me.

Nice- good job on the exhaust Bill! Sounds a lot better too, doesn't it? Had mine on the water this weekend and I got to say it was a great time!!!

1972 48' Pacemaker,
Thanks Scottie, I'm really happy with it. I was concerned about it being too loud but it's perfect. I need to get the GPS out and check the difference on the top end. Seat of the pants tells me it freed the motor up quite a bit. I used to max out about 4200 RPM but I now see at least 4600 (my tachs kinda suck hard to exact)

Now that you're getting some seat time are you loving your boat??

Its kind of a love/hate relationship currently. On one hand its really cool when you get it in the water and light off both engines, and it still atracts attention at the pier- however, it still leaks(annoying) and I am afraid to go anywhere yet because my gas guage still does not work(really annoying) and my wife won't ride in it yet because she is afraid it will sink
