Hope that info helps.

If you want, I can have her run a quote for you. PM me your phone # and I'll have her run your info... that goes for any of you guys on this post, too. Of course, it's prob easier if you call them. I'm not sure if her rates are lower than what you can get by calling direct. She doesn't charge broker fees.

BTW, Jim, your 502s sound GREAT. (saw the youtube clip). I gotta ask - whats your typical GPH with those bad boys?
I might just take you up on that offer, let me see where I net out with Stacy first!

Thanks for the compliment! I have no idea what I will see for GPH considering I have never actually run the boat. I sea trialed it when I bought it and it hasn't seen water since! That was September 2007. My game plan is to hopefully have an "in water" test by the end of September this year but all the little things are taking forever! The engines are putting out roughly 560HP each so she is going to be a gas Guzzler! I am real scared about the dry pipes, I think it is going to attract a lot of un-wanted attention and maybe even scare the fish away...right Scottie!!!

1989 Wellcraft Scarab III
State Farm, blue book value. I got it when I switched all of my insurance policies to them including getting an umbrella. Much cheaper than Progressive was (for me) and the policy reads the same.

what coverages? what's the value they are insuring? Agreed or NADA?

NADA on my boat doesn't reflect its condition or hi-perf options. I had to go with agreed value of 25k

I have a 87 Scarab III and use boat US. I pay $850 a year. What I have learned is that if the boat is older than 10 years you need to get a marine survey. I have had BoatUS for 11 yrs with no problems.

1989 Scarab 31 Excel
My 1989 31 Excel and 2007 trailer are insured with Progressive - $430 a year with full covereage - I just renewed it for next year. I don't recall the liability amounts but they are at the higher level for sure. I had to have a survey when I fisrt insured it though before they would write the policy.
