Looks like the boat has been repainted , new rub rails and the old wind sheild was removed and replaced with an S type fairing. Not bad looking !! As a Suggestion I would put a wide black tape stripe under the rub rail so the cabin windows and the bow lights don't show up too much... Makes the hull look cleaner also... Maybe a Z config. at the stern. Good luck with the boat....................Jim

When you get ready to put the boat away for the winter make sure that the motors and drive housings are winterized properly.Seem to remember that the coolers need some special attention. Long time and a few boats ago...

Nice Scarab!

Welcome to the club.......I am surprised with all the nay-sayers around here that a Scarab can last more then 5 years!

LONG LIVE THE SCARAB!

1. They were made by wellcraft...........

2. Once you redo the transom and stringers that began rotting before any wellcraft left the factory, they last more than 5 years easily.

When I redid the transom on my nova, I found a cigarette lighter that had been glassed in

Looks nice and welcome to the club!!

I would just enjoy it how it is now, before I started changing things. Maybe glass in the windows in the future.

I agree 100%. I saw a 377 Scarab kicking around with glassed in windows, it looked like a totally different boat! (and much nicer)

Its amazing what a black and yellow marker pen will do!!! Just kidding.... It does look a lot better and you won't have to spend a lot of money!!

Jim
