Default 1987 Scarab 1
I just bought a 21' 1987 Scarab 1 with a Yamaha Excel 225. The boat runs great 57 mph on gps. Does anyone know the max HP. for this year boat?? I was thinking of repowering with 250 or 300xs Mercury.Does anyone have a copy of the owner's manual for this boat? Also what brand trailer would be best for this 21'.

It should be marked on a plate riveted in the boat with max hp and max persons. Coast guard info tag
