Imco shortie on an SCS..?

Imco shortie on an SCS..?
Anybody ever done this? I have a 1997 Scarab SCS with the 454 Mag, just in the process of "freshening" the engine and installing a Procharger, wondering if a -1 or -2 Imco shortie might help....?

I put a 1 inch shorty on my scarab 22 , and picked maybe 1 or 2 but it became much more stable at speed and did not have to trim up as high . I did have to go to a 4 blade prop scott

I run hp 465 ( 502 )with merlin heads and craine 731 cam, the builder says 575 HP ( i am not sure ) I run a labbed 30 pitch bravo 1 . the rpms are about 5200 to 5250 . the best i ran was 82.5 mph down river . my rev limiter is set at 5350. I like to be safe than sorry scott
