Just found out the other day from a very knowledgeable source inside Wellcraft corp that only 25-30 Miami Vice Editions were built--including the 6 for the TV show. 30 being the high side...I was always told there were 100-125ish but that number would indicate to me all 38' Scarabs ever built.

I am going to track down some more info and setup a user group for all the 38KV Miami Vice editions. Maybe Facebook or something like that, if anyone has leads on a 38KV Vice Scarabs I would like to hear from them. It seems we know of about 14-15 boats....

met the guy who owns it seen the boat up close needs a lot of work but the new owner is into it and cant wait to see it put back together looking for one myself my son is driving me up the damm walls
