Default fuel sending unit needed

in search of a sending unit for my 1995 scarab 22. can anyone point me in the right direction?

Chris , You need to check the ground on the unit first, then if that looks ok you need to pull the old one out of the tank ..... be very carefull when you do that !!!I would check the gauge also ......Then your going to have to play Sherlock Homes for a new unit. Try flounder pounder Marine in florida they might have what your looking for---- Good luck !!!

THANKS! I have not torn into it yet. Gauge bounces around so wiring diag will be in order.

I am thinking of changing the gauges anyways.

Should be an ISSPRO. 7" or 7.5" deep if I recall. The old ones had a plastic tube that has probably deformed over the years or the magnet has separated from the float. The new ones are aluminum bodied and according to OC diesel where I bought one for my boat last fall, should be compatible with current fuel formulations.

Hope that helps if the wiring turns out to be okay.
