extending inner strakes on a 28" Scarab twin engine
I thinking to extending the inner strakes in my Scarab 28".
My inner strakes original ending befor my window.
They ending 4 meters befor the transom.
I like to extend the strakes without flipping the hull.
I like to glue the strakes on with sikaflex. I like to use POM in white.
The new extendet strakes should be ending 40cm before the transom. I hope for cleaner water on the transom with this distance.
If i extend the strakes to the transom they do ending exactly befor the shortys. I have a little bit fear on my twin engine setup to became problems on the drives with air.
What do you think about my idea and my matrial i like to use.
Thank´s for all informations they can help me in my project.

I did this on my Panther and will make them permanent over the winter. I used wood profiles for testing. I Got the idea from BenPerfected on this forum and bought profiles from BlueThunder. I would highly recommend testing before making permanent.
Here is a little info from my results.
