Default Scarab ladder placement

Need some advice...The 99 33 Scarab AVS I purchased in August this year did not have a ladder. Was wondering what size, type and location to mount one.

Appreciate any advice.

If the boat has a tube swim platform on the stern you can buy a stainless steel folding ladder that attaches to the under side of the platform and folds up very nicely ... Three ft. would work out just fine for the girls, around $120.00 ------good luck

Thanks. I have the molded swim not the tube platform. Do you mount under the platform or on top? I have seen it both ways. Advantages/disadvantages either way?

I was going to mount a ladder on the top of my moulded in platform, but decided to go with a telescoping undermount model. Way cleaner looking and it will not get in the way on the platform. I will find a way to make sure it stays secure.

Go with the self retracting ladder - they work great and you never have to worry about it.
